First Investigation

At The Glebe House Museum and Gertrude Jekyll Garden we had the privilege of helping a Girl Scout earn some merit badges. Jillian and new team member Griffin fondly remember their days in scouting from when they were kids. We generally do not allow children under the age of 18 on investigations, but this Girl Scout brought her mom.

Also along for the investigation was the museum's docent and her adult child home from college. It was a lively investigation and a great learning experience for the daughters.

We're still actively reviewing evidence, but during the set up, we heard what sounded like silverware clinking on a plate from the dining room. Can't wait to see if we picked up the sound on any of our equipment. Keep checking back here and our YouTube page for updates.

In the meantime, the museum and gardens are an amazing day trip if you're ever in Woodbury, Connecticut.  Tell them Obsidian sent you!

Second Investigation

We were excited to be welcomed back to this historic home for another investigation. On our first investigation we heard some interesting sounds from the dining room. We tried to debunk the sounds when we returned and were unable to debunk it. So, we're now more convinced it wasn't something explainable.

We tried some new ways to engage with the spirits. The docent has reported feeling like she is not alone in the library. We invited her to read aloud to the spirits to see if we could capture their engagement. It was a fun experiment. We'll keep you posted if we uncover anything from that!

We're working with a few theories on repeat investigations that we'll talk about on our upcoming podcast. We feel we captured some good evidence of the paranormal on this second trip to the Glebe House and Jekyll Gardens.
