Martin Park in East Hartford is home to three historic buildings: the Huguenot House, also known as the Makens Bemont House, The Burnham Blacksmith Shop, and the Goodwin Schoolhouse (closed for renovations). We were able to investigate the House and the Blacksmith Shop with the help of returning guests, Heather and Regina.

Before the investigation started, we were offered a tour. We learned that the Hugeunot house was built in 1761. In order to save it from demolition, it was moved in 1971 to it's current location in Martin Park. The house is furnished with antiques from the 18th century adding to the sensation of stepping back in time when entering this historic museum.

The Blacksmith Shop was built in 1850 and showcases various tools used locally around the turn of the 20th century. Overall it was another great investigation!
