Broad Brook Library

The library

Myron, Heather, Jillian, and Caroline

Located in Broad Brook, Connecticut the Broad Brook Library is small but mighty! Locally run and operated, it’s evident that this library cares about the community it serves. The building itself has a rich history, and the items inside act like a living time capsule. Most of our team members are old enough to remember the rotary phones and card catalogs.

After guesting with us on many investigations, we welcomed Caroline as an official team member on this investigation. We’re so happy to have her.

During our investigation we experienced motion sensors activating outside, and could not find a logical cause. The night was cold and the landscape snowy. Not a creature was stirring, that we could see.

Libraries are so important to the community and this gem is unique as you can use its resources without a library card. We feel that we may have connected with a recently departed member of the library’s community during our Estes sessions and with our word bank.

We’re grateful to librarian Heather for making this investigation happen. Our investigator Heather was also with us and we had lots of fun Abbot and Costello style trying to distinguish between the two Heathers.
