First Investigation

This historic museum was originally built in 1675 on the town green in Norwich, Connecticut. In 1956 the house was almost demolished to make room for a new highway. Luckily, enough historical societies and citizens banded together and the building was saved from demolition and moved to its new location.

The Leffingwell House Museum was first built as a family home but has also been used a tavern. Benedict Arnold was a frequent visitor to the tavern before being caught as a traitor.

We were happy to welcome fellow paranormal investigator and Leffingwell House Museum docent, Dave, on the investigation with us along with our returning guest, Caroline.

This historic location is a treasure for history buffs and paranormal investigators alike! We can't wait to attend one of their American Revolution reenactment days soon!

Second Investigation

We love getting to know a property and returning back whenever we have a chance. The staff at Leffingwell House Museum are wonderful people so we were happy to return.

We had the full team present for this return visit. We love the new perspective new investigators bring.

Reviewing the footage from our first investigation, we discovered a cabinet door had opened on it’s own, seemingly without any intervention. When we returned, we attempted to find a logical, non-paranormal, cause for it. We still have not been able to explain it.

When investigating the basement, we heard loud footsteps from upstairs. Dave, the docent on site without, jumped to action fearing an unwelcomed visitors. No corporeal cause was found.

We absolutely love investigating at Leffingwell and will hopefully return again soon!
