Olio
This amazing event venue is conveniently located in Peabody, Massachusetts' historic district. This area, like much of New England, is rich in early American history. Olio is unique as the building was once the site of a vaudeville-style theater, once known as the Strand Theatre. The building was a modern marvel when it was first built and gained prestige for using new and innovative construction materials and techniques.
The building was lovingly restored by its current owners and now hosts weddings, unique photoshoots, and other area events. During construction, they discovered artifacts from the building's history and we were privileged to be able to use some of the objects as triggers during our investigation.
We researched the first film that was shown when the theater opened. We found the film on YouTube and played it for the spirits. Hopefully it brought back happy memories and yielded some good evidence.
