Union Station and Tunnel Bar

Union Station Banquets is a unique piece of Northampton and American history. This property houses the Tunnel Bar, Notch 8 Grille, The Deck, and The Roosevelt Grand Ballroom. Prior to becoming a premier dining and events destination, this property was an active train station built in 1897 by renowned architect H.H. Richardson.

One of the notable stories we heard from the staff member on site about this property's history, was of our heroic military members coming home from one of the World Wars. The train carrying the bodies of the brave soldiers had a layover at Union Station. Legend has it that some of the soldiers still haunt the old station trying to find their way home.

We really enjoyed this property and its unique history. During this investigation we believe we contacted the spirit of a deceased loved one connected to one of the staff members.
