We will be talking about this investigation for a long time. It was our longest continuous investigation to date at 20 hours. Comedian and Paranormal Enthusiast Matt Rife along with seasoned Paranormal Investigator Elton Castee recently bought the Warren house in Monroe, Connecticut. The longtime home of the paranormal field's founding father and mother, Ed and Lorraine Warren, this house has borne witness to the esteemed career of the couple who pioneered this field.

Matt and Elton are the current custodians of the Occult Museum that has lived in this house for decades. They lovingly restored and preserved this home that has a revered place in paranormal history. We all felt honored and grateful to have reserved the second ever available date for outside paranormal investigations. The staff who checked us in and completed our checkout were attentive and just as excited for our investigation as we were.

We got to spend 4 hours in the Occult Museum alongside the movie Annabelle, and the actual Annabelle doll who inspired the movies. Many objects there were featured in The Conjuring Movies and spin-offs, and there were so many objects whose stories are still yet untold.

We had the full team along with four returning guests with us. Each person had their own unique experiences with this home. Jillian and Myron will forever remember sitting in the evidence review room together in the basement. The house truly captures the essence of Ed and Lorraine and their love for the home and each other is evident throughout.

One of the many amenities Matt and Elton have included in the rental package is the use of a large variety of common and uncommon investigative equipment. We had a lot of activity with 2 of the provided EMF detecting bells. We were pleased that we got corresponding activity with the cat balls we brought along. We stirred up a lot of positive energy while there.

Ed and Lorraine had a theory about 3am being a time of increased paranormal activity. One of the most memorable moments on this investigation was having absolute silence at 3am. Jillian and guest Caroline spent that quiet moment in Ed and Lorraine's bedroom saying the rosary to themselves in their honor. Caroline brought her great-grandmother's rosary while Jillian used one of the gifted rosaries from Matt and Elton that was blessed at  Saint Patrick's Cathedral. It is a moment we will never forget.

With 20 hours of footage across multiple cameras and devices, we will be reviewing this investigation for a long time. We are so grateful that the new owners of this home have such respect for Ed and Lorraine's memories and for their home and artifacts.
