What do you do when your parents turn your childhood home into an airbnb? Well, in this case friend of Obsidian Paranormal, Alexandra, called us. She shared with us some claims of activity that she had as a child growing up in this beautiful home in the west end of New Hartford, Connecticut.

She remembered having an uneasy feeling in some rooms and seeing a full-bodied apparition by her bed as a child. We were happy that Alexandra was able to join us for part of our investigation.

The airbnb owners are great people and we felt the property was warm and welcoming. One of the owners is an author and we learned the story of Mudflap during our tour. His book can be purchased on Amazon for anyone interested.

One of our favorite experiences from this investigation is that we asked the spirits what room was their favorite and the response was a cryptic "blue fish". We then found wallpaper with blue fish in one of the newly remolded bathrooms.
